Itinerary
Day 1 Kuala Lumpur - Casablanca
Depart by flight to the largest city of the Kingdom of Morocco - Casablanca (Transit on stop enroute) (Meals on board)
Day 2 Arrival Casablanca - Marrakech
-Upon arrival in Casbalnca, porceed to Marrakech - the most important former imperial city in the history of Morocco.
-Rest of the day is free at leisure. (Lunch, Dinner)
Day 3 Marrakech
-Embark on a city tour of Marrakech;
- Menara Gardens: consist of a mixture of orchards and olive groves surrounding a central pavilion which is a popular sight on tourist postcards. The pavilion was built during 16th century Saadi dynasty, and renovated in 1869.
- Koutoubia Mosque: it is said that the minaret of the Koutoubia mosque is to Marrakech as the Eiffel Tower is to Paris. At night, the mosque is beautifully lit.
-Visit argan oil shop;
- Bahia Place: an ornate and beautiful place
- Jamaa Lafna Square: is a square and market place in Marrakesh's median quarter. By day it is largely filled with snake charmers and people with monkeys, as well as some of the more common stalls.
-Dinner at a typical Moroccan restaurant with show and fantasia "CHEZ ALI". (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 4 Marrakech Ouarzazate - Atlas Studio
-Departure to Ouarzazate after breakfast
-Breakfast along the eastern slopes of High Atlas mountains to the enchanting oasis of Tinghir.
-View the Great Kasbah (Kasbah of Taourirt) in Ouarzazate and drive to reach Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of the most authentic and well maintained villages in the region of the Atlas, the most spectacular fortress in the south of Morocco, which has served as decor for many films like "Laurence of Arabia".
-Visit Atlas Studio, is a relatively small and quite town in Morocco, built mostly along the main street. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 5 Ourzazate - Tinghir - Merzouga - Erfoud
-Follow its lush valley, where crops grow in the shade of dates palms, hemmed in by mud-brick villages and barren mountains, to one of Morocco;s most impressive natural sights, the "Todra Gorge" or the "Grand Canyon of Sahara" for lunch.
-The landscapes become progressively move arid, and enter a stony desert.
-Continue drive further west through the Dates Valley, called "Valley of the Thousand Kasbahs"
-After lunch, explore its narrowest point of the canyon, just 33 feet wide, 950 feet high with crystal clear river running through it.
-On your last stretch to Erfoud, and unexpected and breathtaking surprise, the miraculous and peaceful oasis of Ziz Valley, dotted with palm fringed town.
-Upon arrival in Erfoud, free at own leisure. Erfoud is an oasis town in Sahara Desert. It is known by the name of "Gate of Sahara Desert". Many films were shot in this area, among the famous "Prince of Persia" & "The Mummy".
-Transfer by 4x4 to Merzouga
-Jeep excursion to see the sunset over the sands-dunes of Merzouga. Hop on the back of a camel and take a journey across the healing Dunes.
Day 6 Erfoud - Midelt - Fez
-Crossing Midelt and Errachidia en route.
-An unforgettable scenic journey through ever-changing landscapes on your to the mystical deep south.
-Morning break in the quiet Swiss-style village if Ifrane. Verdant Cedar forests give away to volcanic mountains and wind-swept plains as you across the middle Atlas range to Midelt.
-Proceed to Fez, is the medieval capital of Morocco, and a great city of high Islamic civilization. Fez has the best-preserved old city in the Arab wolrd, the sprawling, labyrinthine medina of Fes el-Bali, which is incidentally also the world's largest car-free urban zone. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 7 Fez - Chefchaouen
-Half day city tour of Fez;
- Bab Boujloud: a monumental gateway that spand one of the medina's busiest thorough fares and is a good starting point for your explorations inside the medina walls.
- Mellah: a walled Jewish quarter where Jewish population were confined from the 15th century and to 19th century.
- Moulay Idriss II Shrine (out view): a shrine dedicated to and the tomb of Moulay Idriss, the founder of Fez city. It is one of the most spiritual sites in Fez.
- Fountaine Nejjarine: a beautiful mosaic fountain.
-Departure to Chefchaouen, is one of the most beautiful towns of the Rif mountains. It is a mountains massif and the last rampart before Mediterranean and the Iberian Peninsula. It is famous for its shady valleys Medina, its white houses with blues doors and wrought iron windows and tile roofs. The local markets of Chaouen are animated with traditionally dressed habitants and colourful goods beautifully displayed. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 8 Chefchaouen - Rabat
-Coach to the imperial city of Rabat, once a lair of corsairs and now the country's capital.
-Rabat city tour includes:
- Royal Palace (out view)
- Hassan Tower: A 44m high minaret towering amongst the ruins of the sultan Yacoub al Mansour mosque which was completely destroyed by an earthquake in the 18th century. The minaret was built in 1195, but it was never finished.
- Visit leather and silk shop
- Mohamed V's Mauseoleum: is one of the most important monuments in Morocco. It is heard that the founder of modern and independent Morocco, the father of the nation, King Mohammed V is laid to rest. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 9 Casablanca
-Return to Casablanca, city sightseeing include;
- Visit the famous King Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Morocco and has the tallest minaret on the planet.
- View The Royal Palace, the Mohammed V Square, the residential area of Anfa and the Habous district. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 10 Casablanca - Kuala Lumpur
-Bid farewell to Morocco as we transfer to airport for flight back home. (Transit one stop enroute) (Breakfast, Meals on board)
Day 11 Arrival Kuala Lumpur
-Arrive in Kuala Lumpur with happy memories and till we meet again.
