Itinerary
Day 1 Kuala Lumpur - Nairobi (Kenya)
-Assemble at International Airport for flight (with transit point) to Nairobi - the capital and largest city of Kenya. (Meals on board)
Day 2 Arrival - Nairobi
-On arrival at Kenya's capital, Nairobi, city tour takes you to Nairobi's ancient landmark buildings; Parliament Buildings, Kenyatta International Conference Center with the monument of 1st founding President of Kenya
-Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, and to a lookout point where a spectacular breathtaking view of the city of Nairobi awaits you, then onto The City market for some shopping. (Meals on board, Dinner)
Day 3 Nairobi - Mount Kenya National Park
-After breakfast, proceed to Mount Kenya National Park.
-After lunch, you will be transferred to Serena Mountain Lodge or similar.
-The panoramas surrounding Serene Mountain Lodge will delight you with their dramatic features. By day, cool, clear mountain air and sweeping views across the treetops beckon with opportunity for discovery and exploration. An open-air deck at our Mount Kenya Lodge gazes down to a water hole bustling with elephant and buffalo herds. As darkness approaches, the trees surrounding the hotel come alive in a wall of sound as creatures of all manner. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 4 Mount Kenya National Park - Sweetwaters Game Reserve
-This morning, after breakfast, depart for Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary. Have lunch at Sweetwaters Tented Camp. A sheltered oasis, clustered around a water hole and set in the pristine calm of the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Sweetwaters Tented Camp offers a charming blend of under-cancvas ambiance and safari luxury.
-Located on the plains of Mount Kenya, the camp features thirty-nine luxury tents, each tent has a thatched roof, an en-suite bathroom and its own veranda with views over waterhole. Full room service is provided.
-Afternoon game drives - visit to the rescued chimpanzees' and black rhino's santuaries. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 5 Sweetwaters Game Reserve - Naivasha
-After breakfast at the lodge, you will have a short drive to Naivasha with its commanding setting at the foot of the Rift Valley Escarpment. Lake Naivasha is an important horticultural area of Kenya.
-Arrival at your lodge for check-in and some leisure time followed by lunch.
-Afternoon boat ride to the lake.
-Return to lodge for dinner and overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 6 Naivasha - Maasai Mara Game Reserve
-A hearty early morning breakfast then drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve, this world-renowned reserve, which stretches over 1510 sq km of open rolling grasslands, is watered by the Mara River and littered with an astonishing amount of wildlife.
-The ultimate attraction is undoubtedly the annual wildebeest migration in July and August, when millions of these ungainly beasts move north from the Serengeti.
-In the afternoon, enjoy an enthralling game-viewing drive. Spotting lions, cheetahs and other spectacular predators is the highlight of your day. (Breakfast, Lunchbox, Dinner)
Day 7 Maasai Mara Game Reserve
-In the early morning, option of taking a hot air balloon ride (not included in the tour) silently over the herds as the sun comes up, before a champagne breakfast on the Savannah in the most genuine style of the safaris of yesteryear.
-Full day of game viewing drives and bush adventure. Maasai Mara is the northern most extension of the Serengeti Plains and one of the richest wildlife Game Reserves. It is home to the awesome black-manned lion, the elusive leopards, stately giraffes and vast herds of elephants, rhino, thundering herds of zebra, migrating wildebeest and numerous other plains games. (Breakfast, Picnic Lunch, Dinner)
Day 8 Maasai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi - Carnivore Lunch - Kuala Lumpur
-Return to Nairobi.
-Enjoy lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant, every type of meat imaginable is roasted on traditional Masai swords (skewers) over a huge, visually spectacular charcoal pit that dominates the entrance of the restaurant. The Carnivore is a unique experience. This open-air meat specialty restaurant has become a standard stop on the safari trail.
-Bid farewell to Kenya as we transfer to airport for flight (with transit point) back to Kuala Lumpur. (Breakfast, Lunch) (Meals on board)
Day 9 Arrival - Kuala Lumpur
-Arrive at Kuala Lumpur with unforgettable experiences and enjoyable moment of your once in a lifetime safari.
